Physio Mobile is a new model of care in health services. Founded in 2022 by Daniel Hunter, a Physiotherapist, Sport Science practitioner and ACC accredited treatment provider. Physio Mobile seeks to improve access to health services for those members of our community who struggle to get to the clinic. Changing the game and bringing the clinic to you, Physio Mobile is a fully equipped mobile clinic servicing a 15 km radius of central Whangarei.
Physiotherapy for Recovery and Rehabilitation
Bringing the complete package of physiotherapy services, from massage to mobilisation, braces, walking aids and even electrotherapy or Cardiovascular/Pulmonary rehabilitation. Physio Mobile is equipped and ready to help you recover from injury or surgery, assist with joint and muscle pains or manage chronic pain such as arthritis. Physio Mobile can help with mobility and activity and provide therapy and advice to assist with managing health conditions such as heart or lung disease, Parkinson’s, or stroke rehabilitation in the comfort of your home. Whether you’ve had an injury, a sore back or neck, a joint replacement, or need cardiopulmonary or neurological rehabilitation, Physio Mobile is here to help you.
Sports Physiotherapy for Clubs and Events
Physio Mobile is also fully equipped and experienced in providing Sports Physiotherapy and sports medic services to sports clubs and sporting events. Whether you’re an individual, a team or a local club/organisation holding an event, Physio Mobile can provide on-site services from strapping and pre-event preparation to first aid side-line medical support, injury assessment or tailored injury prevention planning and conditioning for coaches and managers. Daniel is currently the Physiotherapist for Mid Northern Rugby, the Northland Premier Club Rugby Champions 2022.
